Module Overview

Though in-person and remote students in Dual Modality courses may be separated by location, they are all part of one learning community. In this module, we’ll explore the Community of Inquiry framework and apply it to build community in Dual Modality courses.

Objectives

After this module, you will be able to:

  • Define the community of inquiry model and its three presences: teaching, social, and cognitive.
  • Apply the community of inquiry model in a lesson plan to build presence in the Dual Modality course
