Module Overview

In this module, we’ll explore the equipment and technology of Dual Modality classrooms. We’ll also develop a technology plan to ensure class sessions run smoothly and are accessible to all students.

Objectives

• Use a self-developed plan that 1) identifies technology resources and their location including training materials, tech guides, and support services to effectively use classroom technologies and troubleshoot issues and 2) specifies standard operating procedures for sharing presentation materials, transmitting audio, transmitting video, facilitating whole class discussion, and facilitating small group/pair work.
• Use the classroom equipment to transmit visuals and sound to in-person and remote participants

• Use the classroom equipment to enable whole class discussion and group/pair work across modalities.
