39 Revision Memo
Revision is the process of looking at something with new eyes, to “see again” while rethinking a paper: reconsidering your arguments, reviewing your evidence, refining your purpose, reorganizing your presentation, and reviving stale prose to gain a better understanding of the whole.
A Revision memo catalogues this process in paragraph form and should:
• Be addressed to your professor
• Refer to self-assessment from the beginning of the course
• Refer to individual assignments by name while detailing your revision process
• Include an introduction and a conclusion.
