Hands-On Activity | Good Prompt/Bad Prompt

Purpose

Recognize issues in poorly constructed prompts and refine them to enhance interactions with AI models like ChatGPT, then compare the results to understand the importance of effective communication.

Instructions

  1. Identify the Issue: For each of the “bad prompts” listed below, identify the main issue that makes it less effective or potentially misleading.
  2. Refine the Prompt: Using the principles you’ve learned from the OpenAI document and the Forbes article, rewrite each prompt to make it more effective.

After refining each prompt, use both the bad and refined prompts on ChatGPT. Note the differences in the responses.
