Purpose

This activity equips educators with the skills to seamlessly integrate AI-powered tools into their lesson planning, fostering dynamic and interactive learning experiences tailored to their students’ needs.

Instructions

Now that we’ve created a case study with help from generative AI for an upcoming course, let’s explore other practical uses, whether you’re a faculty or staff member.

  1. Review Table 1 from this EDUCAUSE article.
  2. Select one of the scenarios or examples of how generative AI can be used for inspiration, supplementation, improvement, generation, or expansion.
  3. Using the generative AI chatbot or tool of your choice, create your own final product.
  4. OPTIONAL: Take it further! Share what you’ve created with students or colleagues to gather their feedback. What worked well? What could be improved?

Follow your instructor’s directions for submitting this assignment to your LMS or elsewhere.
