Module 3: AI for Higher Ed Faculty and Staff

One of the most promising applications of AI in course development is the ability to automate tasks such as writing case studies, creating quizzes, and gaining feedback on students’ performance. For example, AI-powered systems can track student progress and identify areas where they need additional support. The system can then provide tailored learning resources and activities to help students improve their understanding. This can free up instructors’ time to focus on more complex tasks, such as developing new course materials and interacting with students. In this module, we will explore how we can use AI tools in teaching and course development to support student learning.

Outcomes

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  1. Apply AI tools to automate tasks like generating case studies and improving lesson plans.
  2. Implement AI systems to identify and address student learning gaps.
  3. Integrate AI into course development for enhanced learning experiences.
