Communication & Interaction Expectations

Interacting with fellow participants

Participants in this course are expected to communicate respectfully and with kindness. Much of the asynchronous modules will be done independently, though participants are encouraged to post their thoughts and reflections to the shared discussion board. In the second module, there is one required interaction in which participants will engage in a group brainstorming activity using Padlet. In this activity, you are expected to add at least two culturally responsive teaching practices to the Padlet board. You are encouraged to comment on your colleagues’ post.

During our synchronous session, participants are expected to participate with their full attention during the one hour session. Participants should plan to join with their cameras on and be prepared to share their action plans with their colleagues. They should also be prepared to provide collegial feedback on their colleagues’ work.

Interacting with CELTT

CELTT will function in a facilitative role during this course. CELTT will be available to answer questions and provide individual support. If help is required or desired, participants can submit a help ticket through the Sakai ticketing system or at this link.
