Overview & Purpose

Welcome to the Inclusive Teaching course. We are delighted to have you join us as we work together to become more culturally responsive practitioners.

There are three modules in this course that will help you learn about the importance of culturally responsive teaching and reflect on your own background and teaching practice. As we go through the course, we’ll develop action plans for increasing inclusion in our classes.

This course consists of two main parts:

  1. self-paced independent work completing three modules and assignments
  2. one synchronous session with your colleagues

Throughout the program, CELTT staff are available to provide one-on-one consultations to assist with course design

 

Navigating this Course

You are currently on the Welcome Page for the course. This welcome page is followed by a Glossary. There are three lessons in this course. After the lessons, you will find a Resources page and a References page.

To navigate the course, use the Contents on the left side of the screen.

Click the Contents button to expand the Table of Contents. Click a Page title to go to it. Click the plus sign to expand the subpages.
